Damien is a 2016 television series in The Omen franchise.
The series follows the events of the original 1976 film, The Omen, serving as a direct sequel while ignoring the continuity of Damien - Omen II, The Final Conflict, Omen IV: The Awakening.
Bradley James stars as Damien Thorn, now an adult who must deal with the knowledge that he is the Antichrist.
The show was executive produced by Glen Mazzara (The Shield, The Walking Dead) for the A&E cable network. Barbara Hershey and Scott Wilson also starred.
Filming began on March 16, 2015 in Toronto, Canada and it premiered on March 7, 2016. The show ran for ten episodes, completing its first season on May 9, 2016. It was not renewed.
