MAD magazine[]

Issue #189 from March 1977 parodied the film as "The Omenous" written by Dick DeBartolo with art by Harry North.

The cover of the UK edition of Issue #180 (April 1977) parodied one of the promotional taglines from The Omen:

Saturday Night Live[]

The sixth episode of the second season (hosted by Buck Henry in 1976) parodied the film as "The Ointment" and used the film's score by Jerry Goldsmith, unaltered.

Good Omens[]

The 1990 novel Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett satirizes the apocalypse and several events of the film, including the baby swap.[1]

South Park[]

In 1998, Damien appeared in an episode of South Park, confronting Jesus Christ, but he makes friends with the gang, except Cartman.

In its tenth season, South Park also used an excerpt from Goldsmith's score at the end of Tsst.

American Dad[]

In the 2011 American Dad episode "Season's Beatings", most of the events of The Omen take place with a child named Nemo (omen spelled backwards).

Little Evil[]

The 2017 Netflix comedy Little Evil stars Adam Scott and Evangeline Lilly parodies the film.

The Simpsons[]

The opening sequence of the 2019 episode "Treehouse of Horror XXX" features Maggie Simpson as a stand-in for Damien.
